And not weird, I love that you thought that! It totally didn't pass through my mind but I really love the idea of that! Like, I always think it's dumb when people tattoo someone's name on themselves cause you never know what will happen, but I think the idea of having something that means something to both of you makes so much more sense. And Michael's are like this really grand version of that.

This is my favourite line, because it has a little bit of Michael's dry humour in it (I totally hear him saying that) and it makes you think about the main reason for the tattoo, that was saving Lincoln's life... *sigh*

I use the boat scenario a lot in my fics, because I love it and it makes them independant and free and gives them the perfect excuse for being too close. The space on that boat is limited after all, right?

And the tattoo? It's just too tempting not too use it, not to include it. It's a prove that they are eachother's and I don't think Linc would be able to ignore it.
