I literary burst into tears at Dustin Lance Black's speach when he won the award for Original Screenplay for Milk because he was so touched and what he said was so true and sweet and important.

And I fell in love with the extra-fucking-ordinary Sean Penn again. I love him for his presence, for his talent and his general awesomeness.

And having Sean Penn, Robert DeNiro and the amazing Adrien Brody on stage together was one of the best moments of the show.

Heath Ledger winning was also right and I'm really glad his daughter didn't accept the award, as the rumors said.

ETA: Oh, what is the fuzz about Robert Pattinson? I totally don't get it. He seems so fake to me...

I'm not a Sean Penn fan but his speech was fantastic. (the way his hands were shaking was quite sweet, too...)

Adrien Brody is incredibly sweet and adorable, but sweet Jesus, let that damn hobo look be for a movie. *crosses fingers*

And THANK YOU. My best friend loves Robert Pattinson and I've always thought him completely repulsive. Though I did laugh myself silly at the way he seemed to both have no eyes (WTF!) and was making little model-y faces while he presented. Utter fucking FAIL.

I'm afraid it's Adrien Brody's well, non-movie-ish look, because a friend of me is a huge Adrien fan and she showed me pictures of him from a while ago and he looked like that, so I guess he tries to get it back after every movie... I'm used to it already aparently, because I think it fits him.

Seriously, WTH is with Pattinson's eyes? He was looking down all the time while presenting, and the way he spoke was so artificial... Model-y describes it pretty well. Was he already like that when he played Cedric?

The beard I could deal with but the long hair combined with it just looks very... bushman-y. LOL Philip Seymour Hoffman was wearing a toque for some reason though...

God, I have no idea but those giant brows are so overpowering. At some points, you couldn't even see his eyes. And he may have been while in HP, tbh, I always tried my best to pay as little attention to him as possible. I was always disappointed in the casting for that, Cedric was supposed to be so good looking and Pattinson really isn't, not to me. He's far too British looking. LOL

Mr Hoffman was maybe trying to hide the lack of hair? I don't know. But it looked okay.

Maybe RPattz *lol* didn't try to be crazysexycool a few years back? When he tries now I have to admit he is not very successful... *cough*

That's what I suspected. Thought it an odd choice for the Oscars, but I don't mind the look in general. (some boys look exceedingly cute in toques!)

Lol Again, totally agree! I think all the screaming fangirls are going to his misshapen head. ;) (btw, I gag a little inside every time my friend gushes over how gorgeous he is. Her taste and mine in men pretty much never match up).
