"Beauty - the adjustment of all parts proportionately so that one cannot add or subtract or change without impairing the harmony of the whole."

But I'm not sure. Beauty means for me inperfection, which would exclude proportions, right? What does beauty mean for you, sweethearts?

I agree, imperfection is much more appealing then perfection... which is not at all appealing to me. lol Really pretty people generally just look alike to me.

Exactly. People who are just pretty seem so replaceable...

Your icon surely is not replaceable *licks pritti Danziger*

So very much. I don't really get those people who like those model types, I find them so dull.

I'd take him over a million of those pretty boring boys any day! Or actually, I'd like him over the boy in my icon. And I mean over in the literal sense. ;)

I'll second that... actually, I firsted it there, so I'll third it then, I guess. ;) (wow, confusing much?) But really, that would be so very pretty!

Yeah, there's this definition that beauty can be measured exactly in lines and angles etc. I think that's true in a general, common sense, but when it comes to "remarkable" or "outstanding" there has to be something more. Something like a step aside from perfection.

And often the things you don't see add to the beauty of a person, don't you think? (though this might be a very female pov...)

Yes, the things you discover and not just see at the first sight are much more important than beauty.
