I don't like Jared Leto and I don't like Colin Farrell either, and I just watched the movie because there was nothing better on TV tonight, but they were both pretty likeable in that movie and I enjoyed that little Alexander/Hephaistion thing very much. It was just a shame that Oliver Stone didn't let them kiss. Besides that it was really hot.


They say that when one of them dies during a battle, the other will follow.


Colin and Jared seemed to like their characters and each other.....

Fand ich auch schade, dass die zwei sich nicht küssen durften. Alexander durfte den einen da küssen, aber nicht Hephaistion - schon merkwürdig. Aber es ist trotzdem sehr süß gewesen zwischen den beiden. :)

I do sorta like Colin Farrell... at times. LOL Never gotten Jared Leto's appeal. But I do agree that the relationship between them in the movie (or at least as much of it as I've seen, which is... half, I believe) is quite sweet.

I don't think you missed much watching just the half of it. I wasn't paying that much attention after two hours myself.

I loved Jared Leto as Jordan Catalano in My so-called life but that was like 15 years ago and he totally lost it for me over the years.

I've seen a few bits of that show but I don't think I was ever particularly into Jared... maybe he's just too cookie cutter for me, I don't know. Most of my friends are quite taken with him and I've just never quite got it. I will confess to kinda liking his creepy looking brother with the angry foreigner eyebrows. LOL

Hm, I think I don't like the Letos on their own, but when they are together, I could watch pictures for hours, because they are way too touchy for real life brothers.

They are, aren't they? And yeah, I know what you mean. While I do prefer Shannon of the two, I really am not that fussed over them in general. Same with the band, I've just never been blown away by it.

No, the band isn't that special. Their music is not that bad, though, as long as I can just listen and don't have to watch them play. Jared seems like such a rockstar poser, it's pretty annoying.

Lol, so true. I've only heard a handful of their songs and they were alright but I would never go out of my way to hear them. And Hared really does have that air, doesn't he? Hate that.

Ach was. Im ERNST? Dann war der Film geschnitten. Ich war im Kino damals und die beiden küssen sich sehr wohl. Auf einem Balkon in... ich hab's vergessen, aber ich glaube, da, wo er diesen Tänzer kennenlernt. Ich bin sicher, die Szene kann man irgendwo auf Youtube finden.

In my opinion the whole movie is great! Although it lasts more than 3 hours (right?) I din't feel it while watching. Besides I love historical movies. <3

Oh, and Collin is yummy! *grins*
