She stayed silent and he didn't know if she believed him. He wasn't even sure if he believed in what he just said, he only knew that it would be better to do so. Because she was in love with him and he just wished he could feel the same.
Then maybe Lincoln would be only Lincoln for him - his brother - and she would be the person he loves the most, she would be the one he would do anything for, not the other way around.
