Christmas is officially over!

Also I have to talk about J. Edgar, The Avengers and X-Men: First Class
One film that I've forgotten to mention in my last post was J. Edgar. Since I heard that they did cast Leo and Armie for the main roles and read an interview with Armie where he mentioned making out scenes I just couldn't wait to see this! Especially when I read that Dustin Lance Black wrote the script. I knew I needed this in my life!
And really, it wasn't bad. Leo was a great J. Edgar and Armie was just stupidly attractive (as usual) and I loved him losing it in that hotel room, but there was no kissing! And no, that poor excuse of a kiss during the fight doesn't count!
What I really don't get at all is, how you can have two of such hot guys playing a goddamn couple, closeted or not, and all they are allowed to do is low profile flirting, holding hands for two seconds and that's all?
But I guess it had to be expected with Clint Eastwood directing... If I had something to decide about it, I'd made borderline porn with those two!
I could rant for hours about this fuckery, but instead, let's just move to The Avengers, okay?
I liked it a lot. Joss Whedon's fanboy was showing all the time with the amount of cross-references between all the other superhero-movies, and I can only imagine how awesome that must have been for the fans! I've only seen both parts of Iron Man but was able to follow anyways.
Scarlett Johansson is so badass in that movie! I didn't like her character in Iron Man 2 very much, but she totally got me in The Avengers. Also, I couldn't stop staring ather everyone's butts in those very tight costumes! Have mercy! *cough*
And Jeremy Runner! Please, stop being so ridiculously good looking! Same goes for you, Mark Ruffalo!
I know everyone and their mothers ship Tony/Steve and I get where that comes from, but I'm all Tony/Bruce. For reasons! Give me all your recs if you're with me! And also all the good Thor/Loki stuff because they always manage to look as if they're going to kiss, even being angry with each other... (That's the reason why I think I'll have to watch Thor in a not so distant future.)
All in all it was a good movie and I'm glad I finally managed to watch it, but I kinda expected more from it.
But X-Men: first class totally delivered it! What is this film even? Charles/Erik isn't slash anymore, it's plain canon! Michael and James have the most perfect chemistry and I loved all scenes with them teaching the kids and basically being their freaking dads!
Then everything kinda collapsed but until then, it was epic! <3 So dears, give me all of your Cherik recs! Especially the ones where Charles injury makes Erik come to his senses and stay with him forever! <3 (Generally the ones post!movie are very appreciated, because YES! There's finally a slashable disabled character and I totally need that in my life!)
Also, to all AO3 users: is it possible to make fics there only visible for AO3-members? And speaking of it, I keep forgetting my password there. Useless!
