I ordered the first two seasons of Breaking Badas a xmas gift for myself and they arrived just the other day! It's a show about a chemistry teacher who gets cancer and starts to cook meth to leave money for his family.
Of course I had to check immediately, if the DVDs are okay, so I watched the pilot *ggg* and while I was at it I had to take some screencapsalmost 200 *cough* don't judge, mkay? and now I share them with you:

Yes, it's Walter's pants. They belong to one of the bestest opening scenes in TV shows, ever. It would probably the best, but I'll never forget the first scene of Prison Break and because I still have that tattoo kink... yeah...
Naked!Walt FTW!

♥

This scene was enough for me to fall in love with this show
Opening sequence

I love how they use abbreviations of chemical elements in their names. Bryan's is taken from Bromine, a halogene and Aaron's is Argon, a noble gas. And yes, I actually knew this. But it's probably all that I remember from chemistry. *lol*
Walt is pretty much a genius

His kid, Walter Junior

I don't only love the fact that they've decided to have a disabled character in this show, but also that the very pretty RJ Mitte really has celebral palsy.Which happens to be my disability, too, though I can't walk at all. Casting disabled actors for disabled characters is the only way to show the rest of the world that we do exist and are not that different from you.
Walt teaches

Little geek-out ♥
Meet Hank, DEA agent and his brother-in-law, who want's toshow off take him to see how they take out a drug lab.

Meet Walt's wife Skylar and the most terrible hand job, ever! So ridiculous, so wrong, so amusing! Walt's face tells all.

It cracks me up every time.
Awful and important

And there he is: Walt, sitting in the car in front of a meth house, and while the DEA takes care of the guys inside, Walt witnesses this:

*giggles*
But wait...

can it be...

Meet Jesse Pinkman, Walt's former student

FML, it's my ex teacher!

And Jesse escapes unnoticed because he is

after all...

I love this awesomely ridiculous and absurd scene from the bottom of my heart!
Walt showed up to suggest some cooking

Let's partner up or I'll turn you in

Are you kidding me?

Aaron Paul, you are oh so handsome!

Walter gets them some equipment

Drinking! (Yes, I love to watch people drink and/or eat on TV sometimes)
Chemistry lecture

Walt's son is trying on new jeans

Some assholes are making fun of him and Walt is not amused

Badass!
But let's cook some meth now

in a fucking Winnebago! ♥
I love how boy-ish Jesse is!

It's so ridiculous how much I love watching Walt taking his clothes off

But you leave those on, right?

Of course he does!
And what does Jesse do?

Get his camera, of course!
And that's one of the first things he films

Not bad at all
Time to cook

It ain't chemistry – it's art!

Walt isn't good in taking compliments

Jesse is all *squee*

Look how proud he is! Now Nea is all *squee*

Some talking happens between Jesse and Krazy-8

while Walt is in the Winnebago of awesome and gets naked for my pleasure

Jesse is back.

Naked Walt in this apron is the most awesome thing ever!
Jesse is not happy

Things get out of control

Run, Mr. White!

So he does

Knee deep in shit

But Walt is a very clever man

Holy shit!

He won't leave Jesse alone

But there is a fire, too

But Jesse is more important

*sings quietly* Here comes my hero, watch him as he goes...
Now we're back where we started from

His clothes

One of the most intense scenes

Oh, Walt... *hugs*

*giggles a little*
Look who is conscious again!

We have to clean things up

I know I know, this picspam got totally out of control! Sorry!

Date: 2010-12-18 08:05 pm (UTC)And I love how they did the credits, too! I try and pinpoint every element when I watch it (and get like maybe half of them. lol)
I love RJ, too, and I so compltely agree about the fact that it's awesome that they cast someone who really is disabled in the role. When they cast able-bodied people in that kind of role, no matter how they handle it, it always feels in a way to me like they are mocking those people and I hate it. Even when I know that's not their intention, it just comes off that way to me. (Also, I'd no idea that you had CP! Just fyi, if I don't ask about this sort of stuff, it's never because I'm not interested in anything that's going on with you, I just never want to seem rude in case it's something you don't want to talk about!)
And btw, wouldn't you totally want a teacher like Walt? I love how adorabe he is when he's introducing the class to Chemistry. I love it any time he geeks up. It just makes me love him extra!
Oh my god, I NEVER noticed what Jesse's license plate says. LMAO Sooo classy.
Drinking! (Yes, I love to watch people drink and/or eat on TV sometimes)
My best friend and I are the same way and this other girl I know used to think it was so weird. But it's just oddly hot sometimes!
Btw, those assholes in the store who were making fun of Walt's son? I hated those guys. I just... people like that made my blood boil and I was so happy when Walt dealt with them the way he did. I usually like characters to be able to rise above, but that just... that needed to be done.
The cap of Jesse using the mortar and pestle is SO. Much. Awesome. His face there just made me lol so bad.
Longest comment ever, sorry! lol I love any time they get Walt naked, too. I love how they use it to make the situation more absurd in the most awesome way.

Date: 2010-12-19 01:01 am (UTC)You can ask me anything, dear, I have no problems to talk about it. And it's not like we wouldn't know each other. You can ask in your next email or I can tell you a few things in my next, if you want to know more.
And yes, that's exactly the point: there may be a few cases where a able-bodied person can play someone disabled but in most of the cases I feel a bit mocked (though unintentionally) But there are not enough disabled characters on TV or in films, anyways, so RJ and Vince Gillian do a great job there.
I would totally want a teacher like Walt! My actual chemistry teacher was great, but he hardly taught us chemistry. Instead we were talking about ethics and philosophy a lot, idek why... *lol*
Jesse's licence plate always reminds me of Captain Awesome! (Who would probably be appalled about it)
This whole "watching-someone-eat-or-drink" thing never works in real life, but on tv such random everyday things are just hot!
Walt was so badass in the store! They deserved it and he totally loved it to teach them a lesson in respect.
Jesse is such a silly boy most of the time. I heart him a lot. And I love how well they seem to work together, though they are so very different.
Always enjoying your comments, dear! <3
