Aww... perfect setting! I love that you took Michael's hammock-line from 'back then' and made it happen. In my imagination their life was exactly like this after the esacpe. Yep.
Now, Lincoln and poems... sounds like a strange combination at first, but then.. both of them, reading in the same book, sharing touches, kisses and the wonderful words... *sigh*...
Plus the bonus of the tattoo and Michael's glasses, whoohooo!

On the side: The bracketed parts confused me a bit. Suppose they belong to the original poems? Using brackets in rather short sentences seems somehow strange to me. Well, probably just because the lines were excerpts - and I am really no poetry expert *lol*
