Fic: Summertimes | Theodore Bagwell/OFC | PG-13

[livejournal.com profile] lifthrael challenged me to write T-Bag/first love not so long ago, and said that I'll hate her for it. But I don't. I could never hate you. Not for making me write Teddy. But I might have cursed you if you'd challenged me to write something nice about Mahone or... other undead people. Hope you like how it turned out, Sweetheart! Happy Birthday! *hugs*

"Are you really reading that book?" she asked, pointing at the encyclopedia he was clutching to his chest and he nodded.

OMG, the idea of this scrawny little bit of nothing holding that book that must have been half as big as he was then just kills me utterly.

She watched him, impressed and even held his hand on their way back, which made him stutter a little

Seriously, I want to go back in time and steal little baby!Teddy and keep him from getting so fucked up. (the stutter also killed me, maybe it's weird but I've always found a little bit of a stutter ridiculously endearing).

The end of it is perfect too, I love but he dreams of her sometimes, in hot summer nights. I love the eager sort of vulnerability you catch in baby!Teddy, that's what always makes me wonder how people can think he's so very creepy/bad/scary. He's just a sad little boy. With... excessively violent tendencies. ;)

You like it! You like it! Yay! I was kind of anxious about writing it in the first place, but Lifthrael likes it and you like it and that's making me happy.

I know, little Teddy with this huge book is just adorable!

Yes, I'd love to save him, really! To see what his live could have been if he'd grow up in a safe home. Maybe a lawyer. Can you see lawyer!Theodore? Or a judge? Or a journalist?

I doooo! OFC's pretty much always make me hesitate (cause they're so often... augh, you know! lol), but you handled it so very well!

I think this deserves the use of my Robert as an FBI agent who really looks like nothing more than the most adorkable lawyer icon. lol But omg so much! I always wondered what he would have been like if his dad hadn't fucked him up so much cause there really are good parts to him, they just... get lost in the shuffle so often. Plus, I think so long as it didn't turn violent, he would have the most adorable protective streak in him, too.

Thank you! Usually I hate don't like original characters in fics very much, but the challenge was "first love" and I remembered Susan and how he said that she was the first person he actually felt something for, but I couldn't write about Susan because I don't dare to lay my hands on adult!Teddy, so I thought... "He must have been in love as a kid at least once!" and... I'm glad it turned out okay...

That icon of yours really is very adorkable and I bet awesome adorkable lawyer!Teddy would be able to get Lincoln out of prison in a legal way, because he'd be excellent like that, yet knowing enough dirty secrets of judges and gouverneurs not to be involved in this whole conspiracy thing!

Ditto... it totally depends on the writer, I think. Maybe it's because there are so many bad, bad baaad authors out there that use OC's to write themselves into a story that it just puts a bad taste in everyone's mouth at the mention of one. Well, that and I think reading enough slash tends to give most people a wariness about het fics in general. Or maybe that's just the people that I know! Haha.

OMG, him all dorky and clever would absolutely kill me. Because cute boys who are smart and dorky and just... ugh, so adorable, are seriously the most adorable thing in the world.

Btw, totally random but I thought of you when I was watching this show the other day cause very young C-Note was in it! I was like "haha omg, is that... it toootally is!" (and they had a female character in one ep whose last name was Wentworth! lol)

"Dorky and clever" is a deadly combination.

Aww, Rockmond Dunbar is adorable and shiny! Look here (http://s60.photobucket.com/albums/h39/Nea1979/prisneyland/?action=view&current=379120848_dc5aeff9f1_o.jpg) and I love this pic (http://s60.photobucket.com/albums/h39/Nea1979/prisneyland/?action=view&current=cast_jonathanadler_002.jpg) to no end.

*lol* There was a show a few years ago where one of the female character's name was Maureen Scofield and it was pretty irritating *ggg*

That icon is so cute! And so true!

I actually could not staaaand Rockmond in PB. I don't mind him at all in this other show... but he doesn't get to do much in it so far. And omg, I rememebr those pics! Robert = so freaking cute! (Rockmond looks good too but I really really hate that sweater of his lol)

hah, irritating people should not be allowed to have names of cute boys. It should be a law. ;)
