Happy Halloween, to everyone who celebrates!
I hope the US part of my f-list is safe and Sandy didn't affect you too much. What the news are showing is terrible enough. Take care, everyone, please!
I decided to participate in
mini_nanowrimo and
wrisomifu this year to finish my prompt tables for
30_kuesse and
de_bingo. It's in German and the pairing is Seth/Ryan from the OC (see icon), because they are the ones I carry around for 6 years now. It's time to get it done, eventually. I hope I'll get back into writing, because I hate abandoning awesome ships for no reason in the middle of a challenge.
The biggest difference between original nano and mini is that I don't need to reach 1667 a day, which is pretty much unreachable for me, in general, because a) the things I write won't work with 50,000 words. I've tried last year and after 20,000 my fic was more than done and more words would have ruined it b) my current state of writing is pretty miserable. I haven't written anything decent in months, so 300 words a day sounds like a realistic and reachable goal.
[Now there is a break, so all the NaNoWriMo participants on my f-list can laugh *ggg*]
Anyways, I'm looking forward to see what the NaNo-spirit brings.
