Title: Another one
"You used me. So you have at least one thing in common with the company..."
Michael startles from sleep and for a moment he doesn't know where he is.
"It's okay, Michael, you're safe..." Lincoln's voice finally gets through to him and he turns his head to look at his older brother lying next to him.
"Lincoln..." Michael sighs, relieved, and rubs his eyes. They are in their apartment in New York. "Is LJ okay?"
"He's sleeping in the next room." Lincoln nods, putting a hand reassuringly on Michael's neck. "You had a nightmare again..." That's nothing new for them anymore. Michael is not the only one having nightmares about everything that happened to them.
"You're not like one of the Company," Michael says suddenly and continues, before Lincoln has the chance to say anything. "I shouldn't have said that..."
"You apologized about what you said in Sona already..." Lincoln reminds him.
"That deserves it's own apology..." Michael explains, because it haunts him. "You're not like them. Not at all."
"I would *never* use you for anthing, Michael, and I never did..." Lincoln says.
"I know...“ Michael admits. "I have no idea how I could say something like that..."
"Sona was hell and you were..." Lincoln begins.
"...out of my mind..." Michael ends the sentence for him. "So you think you could forgive me that, too?"
"Maybe..." Lincoln nods and Michael leans in and kisses him, before they both lay down again.
"Please?" Michael's voice is almost a whisper.
"I'll try..." Lincoln pulls him close and Michael shifts a little, so he can put an arm across Lincoln's chest, before kissing him again and finally closing his eyes.
