Title The glasses are fault

"Hey", Eduardo says, opening the door to his friends' dorm.

Mark is sitting on the sofa, with his laptop, as usual. "Hi, Wardo", he mumbles absentmindedly, looking up only for a second.

"You're wearing glasses." Eduardo blurts out, before he can think better of it, still standing next to the door.

Eduardo had never seen him wearing glasses before. He didn't even know Mark needed glasses at all. Which of course wasn't surprising, because Mark had been sitting in front of computers since he was a kid; it's more likely that he needed glasses, that's anything surprising. The surprising part was how good Mark looks wearing them. Eduardo holds back from asking why Mark doesn't wear them more often. That would bring him a lot of attention from the girls. Or at least Eduardo wouldn't be able not to stare at him. Just like right now.

"Yes, I am", Mark confirms, focused on his monitor again. Eduardo is grateful for this lack of attention, because he's still standing on the same spot and seems unable to look away from Mark.

"What's up, Wardo?" he hears Dustin ask, who is leaning against the door frame to the kitchen, dragging Eduardo's nickname out a little at the end. "You staying or leaving?"

"Hey, Dustin..." Eduardo blinks and blushes. He would love to know how long Dustin had been already standing there. "I'm staying..."

Dustin nods and hmmm's, heading towards the kitchen, but he can't remember what he wanted from there. When he goes out again, he can see Mark already focused back on coding. Eduardo is sitting next to him, an issue of The Economist in hand, but instead of reading, he still watches Mark.

"Chris!" He bursts into Chris' room, who is watching something on his laptop. It's probably Shark Week from earlier this week, but Dustin doesn't know for sure because Chris pauses it. It could also be porn, but Dustin's mind is too occupied with something else at the moment to give it a second thought. "You'll probably think I'm crazy..." He sits down on Chris' bed, then gets up again to lean against the desk.

"Dustin?" Chris eyes him curiously.

"I think Wardo may be in love with Mark." Dustin says quietly, as if their friends could hear them through the walls.

He is expecting Chris to react with disbelieve to this unexpected discovery, but instead he looks kind of amused. "How would you know that?"

Dustin doesn't answer but grabs Chris by the wrist, pulling him out of the room.

"See?" Dustin whispers, leaning against the kitchen door frame again, and nodding towards Mark and Eduardo.

Mark is explaining something, eyes still on the screen, and Eduardo is leaning in, but his eyes are on Mark.

"Mark, you look really good in glasses," Chris can't resist saying. Mark mumbles something that could be a thank you, without even looking up, and Eduardo blushes. "Hi, Wardo." Chris adds, grinning.

"Hi," Eduardo looks embarrassed, as if caught in the act.

"So, is your gaydar tingling already?" Dustin whispers into Chris' ear, his fingers still curled around Chris' wrist.

Chris hmm's at that, stifling a laugh, and goes back to his room.

"You really think Mark looks good in glasses?" Dustin wants to know, following him.

"Not as good as you would," Chris wants to say, but shrugs instead, saying "I just wanted to see Wardo's reaction..." and Dustin beams at him, happily.
